When I go to the south of France I find them on the rocks the same way as in Pantelleria although they have been smaller in size, yet delicious.
September, what a perfect month to travel south, I wish you a lovely time with and in La Grand Bleu with a lot of Frutti di Mare.

		<description><![CDATA[Well, I&#039;d think a plate of pasta with limpets and a glass of crisp white wine while dining alfresco and overlooking the Mediterranean would definitely get my weekend off to an ideal start.  Lovely photo and post.  I&#039;ll be in Sardinia in September--I try to remember to keep an eye out for them.  I don&#039;t think I&#039;ve ever seen a limpet in the US. 		<description><![CDATA[Hej Karin, ååh jag hade önskat att jag kunde säga ja, men tyvärr är det för svårt och dyrt med transporten just nu på små volymer.
Vi är några här på Pantelleria som vill starta ett kooperativ för att kunna få igång handel, vi får se hur detta utvecklar sig.
Jag kommer att skriva om det på bloggen om allt funkar och det blir verklighet. Som det är nu säljer vi bara kapris, oregano och snart torkade fikon.
Men jag vill utveckla med oliver, olivolja, salt och soltorkade tomater efter årets skörd, så vi får hålla tummarna att det blir ett bra år.

Somehow the thought of that is so romantic to me.  Perhaps because I absolutely love lemons!  Especially in January, when they  bring some much needed cheer into the kitchen!
